Why I only do CrossFit twice a week
Why I only do CrossFit twice a week
Coming off my latest CrossFit competition, I take some time to reflect on my recovery, where I'm at as an athlete, and the direction I want to take this channel.
I also dive into some bigger conversations surrounding fitness and training. With the rapid growth of HYROX and hybrid fitness, we're seeing a new wave of people entering the strength and conditioning world. I discuss some fundamental principles of strength training and explain the important difference between simply exercising and actually training with a purpose.
Lastly, I explain why I've moved toward performing traditional CrossFit workouts only twice per week. For me, it's about building a more sustainable approach to fitness that allows for long-term progress without constantly pushing the limits of recovery.
Movements performed in my training session, sled pulls, echo bike, ski erg, strict press, core, lunges.
