After 10 Years of Extreme Endurance, I’d Only Do These 5 Things
My first Spartan Beast took me 10 hours and 11 minutes. Years later, I pulled a Toyota Tacoma 31 miles.
I wasn’t born with endurance. I built it over 8 years, 34 Spartan races, and a lot of long, uncomfortable days. In this video, I break down the 5 things I’d do if I had to build extreme endurance from scratch.
Stack small wins
Teach your body to handle volume
Stop going all-out every day
Take fueling seriously
Build strength and compete
Along the way:
🏃 34 Spartan races, including a 50K ultra
🧺 72 miles of farmer carries in 72 hours
🛞 24 hours of tire flips with a 200 lb tire
🧗 2,198 rope climbs in 25 hours (the height of Everest)
🛻 Toyota Tacoma pulled 31 miles, Tundra pulled 22 miles
