While Dave Castro is picking on Hiller this is how real event pros are and business strategists are beating his brilliant ego Here's the math: **Prices** - Spectator: **$20/day**, each of the 4 race days ticketed separately - Athlete entry (2026 US pricing): Open $120–160, Pro $180–220, Doubles $220–300/team, Relay $300–380/team **Revenue estimate** - Athletes: 18,700 × ~$145 blended average ≈ **$2.7M** - Spectators: 18,000 × $20 ≈ **$360K** (assumes one day each; more if they attend multiple days) **Total ticket revenue: roughly $3M**, call it $2.8–3.5M depending on the division mix. That's tickets only — before merch, sponsors (MyFitnessPal is the title partner), and concessions.
